Please join us for SAM's Young Professional Mixer networking event in collaboration with CSCMP (Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals).
This event will be hosted by CSCMP with the purpose of giving our members an opportunity to expand their networks by socializing with supply chain professionals from a variety of companies in a casual atmosphere.
We would love if our alumni could also make it out for this event (feel free to invite co-workers)! It is a free event, and drink tickets will be provided for all Young Professionals in attendance. Dinner will be available for purchase in the pub.

If you are interested in pursuing a career in project management, you definitely don't want to miss our general meeting featuring a presentation from Manish Gandhi, who is on the board of the Orange County chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI). Manish will be talking about what PMI is and the benefits of joining, as well as covering PMI's mentorship program and the CAPM certification.
Come volunteer and help clean up after the Moving Day event! This is an outreach event with the purpose of giving back to our community.
Description of the event: "Moving Day® is an annual fundraising walk event. It is a fun and inspiring fundraising event that unites families, friends and communities both large and small in the fight against Parkinson’s disease. This celebration of movement will feature a family friendly walk course, a kids area, a caregivers relaxation tent and a special Movement Pavilion featuring yoga, dance, Tai Chi, Pilates, etc. all proven to help manage the symptoms of PD.
It is ‘A day to move, a day to move others, a day that moves YOU!’"

IBA, AMA and SAM proudly present the Professional Etiquette Dinner. Please join us as we will learn the value of interpersonal skills in a dining environment from business etiquette expert and LBSU alumni, Diane Lee. Our goal is to strengthen the poise and professionalism of our members, and to present the opportunity to exchange knowledge and network through conversational topics learned from table manners.
Event will take place on Thursday October 26 from 5:00-7:30 p.m. in the Chart Room, LBSU. Business professional attire is required.

Yenni Li from 3rd party logistics company CH Robinson will be joining us at our normal meeting time to talk about all the do's and don'ts of the interview process. This workshop is leading up to our Interview Summit, which is coming up on Friday, October 27th, so come polish up those interviewing skills and get internship application ready!

Boeing will be hosting a hands-on resume workshop to help SAM & FMA members polish their resumes. This workshop is aimed toward assisting students who wish to apply for Boeing's distinguished internship program. It will be a great opportunity to meet Boeing recruiters and learn more about their company.

Please be at Warner Brothers Studios for the taping of Disjointed no later than 3pm. Please eat before the event (a light snack will be provided). Dress code is casual, but please dress appropriately and in a non-offensive way (not too much skin and no explicit clothing). It may also be cold in the studio so bring a sweater. There will be no electronics allowed inside, so be advised no cell phones must be left in your car.
